There were also three unopened bottles of Naltrexone that were compounded into similar vials of sterile water. While the on the sterile water also indicated that it was not expired, the pharmacy compounding label indicated that the active ingredient expired on 5/21/2014. Expired medications are considered adulterated, and is not considered an appropriate method to treat diseases or reduce/alleviate pain. Correct immediately.
